Welcome to Nurture.
Welina mai kākou, e aloha mai 〜 a very warm welcome to you ♡
Nurture by Manalani is a place where connection, compassion, and care come together to support the whole person.
Here you will find two pathways of care:
Traditional Hawaiian Healing
Ancestral practices passed down through generations, offering space for healing, reflection, spiritual connection and restoration.
Independent Person-Centred Support
Compassionate NDIS support that honours your strengths, choices and goals to build confidence, independence and wellbeing.
Donna May Manalani, founder of Nurture by Manalani shares this way of living through her life and work as a Traditional Healing Practitioner and Independent Support Worker.
Whether you are seeking spiritual guidance, emotional support, practical assistance, or simply a safe space where you feel seen and valued… you are welcome here.
With over 10 years of experience across the wellness, education, and community sectors, Donna has dedicated her work to supporting human connection, wellbeing, and meaningful relationships.
Throughout her journey, Donna has had the privilege of sharing traditional Hawaiian teachings with communities across her beloved home of Australia, Hawaiʻi, New Zealand, and throughout Europe.
Through these pathways, we can cultivate and deepen who we are and continue to grow each day.
The Origins & Hawaii…
Just as some dedicate their lives to understanding the mind and its inner workings, and others devote themselves to preserving and restoring the physical body, Nurture by Manalani is dedicated to nurturing the strength, clarity, and wellbeing of the Spirit.
For many of us, our spiritual lives come into sharper focus during significant life transitions, illness, loss, birth, death, grief, or seasons of uncertainty. It is often in these moments that we begin searching for something deeper than what the mind alone can understand.
Yet the spirit is not reserved only for times of crisis. Prayer and spiritual connection are deeply personal experiences, not belonging to one religion or belief alone. The work of Nurture hopes to be that reminder, that if we are to forget… we can come back and remember. That remembering is a spiritual practice.
Through traditional Hawaiian healing practices, prayer, compassionate guidance, and wholehearted support, we create a safe and welcoming space where people can reconnect with their inner foundation and move forward with renewed purpose, peace, and clarity.
We trace back over 51 generations from Hālawa Valley on the island of Molokaʻi, Hawaiʻi. Our lineage remains one of the oldest unbroken lineages in Hawaiʻi nei. Standing behind me is Oʻahu born, Cultural Practitioner Kumu Paʻa Kawika Foster and 50th generation Kumu is Kumu Paʻa Nui Lawrence Kalainia Kamani Aki, born in Hālawa Valley, Molokai.
Aloha i kekahi i kekahi — to love one another unconditionally.
Mahalo na Akua — Thank you God, Higher Being/s & Ancestors.
